Crumb Rubber Modified (CRM) is one of the asphalt modifiers that improves asphaltphysical and mechanical properties and helps reducing environmental pollution. In this research, three unmodifiedand six CRM modified binders were tested using the Superpave test and Performance Grading (PG) system. The MultipleStress Creep and Recovery (MSCR) test was used to assess rutting resistance of rubberized binders. The studycompared the results of this classification with the 7 performance grade binders required for specific climatic zonesin Isfahan Province. The results show that, CRM improves asphalt’s physical and mechanical properties at servicetemperatures and decrease in the non-recoverable compliances (Jnr) in MSCR test. Moreover, CRM binder is sufficientfor the required PGs, while based on MSCR test, it cannot fully cover the traffic level requirements in IsfahanProvince.}, keywords = {crumb rubber,asphalt binder,traffic compatibility,MSCR test,Rheological properties}, url = {http://www.ijte.ir/article_40535.html}, eprint = {http://www.ijte.ir/article_40535_0de1edb71d9bb5aee1b0f440a05ea155.pdf} }
